What are the responsibilities and job description for the Direct Support Professional (DSP) position at Moonlight Home Health Care?
Duties:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration
- Implement individualized treatment plans and behavior support strategies
- Promote independence and community integration for individuals
- Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals at all times
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided
Skills:
- First aid and CPR certification
- Experience working with individuals with special needs is preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Medication certifications I, II, III
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.50 - $17.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
