What are the responsibilities and job description for the Armed Security Team Member position at Moonlight Security, Inc?

Moonlight Security is currently seeking qualified candidates for full and part time Armed Security positions. We are in search of individuals that have a desire to work in a fast paced environment and have the ability to make sound decisions in a challenging atmosphere.

The primary role of the current positions will be an enforcement patrol and fixed post positions in a challenging environment. The role of these individuals will be to ensure the safety and security of our clients and their property. You will work on a team with like minded individuals to accomplish the goals set forth. This is not a Monday-Friday position with morning hours, rather this is position in which you will be challenged to perform at a higher level and utilize a team effort along with critical thinking skills to meet the criteria set forth.

Pay range may be contingent upon applicants relative experience, knowledge, abilities and/or training.

$300 sign on bonus if you already have a 20 hour private security firearms certificate through OPOTA that is in good standing with the state. 6 months with no disciplinary issues required.

Qualifications:

Must be 21 years of age
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
Must have a valid Drivers license and reliable transportation
Must have a current 20 hour private security guard firearm certificate from the State of Ohio or be in a position to attend firearms training
If seeking to drive a patrol vehicle, must be 25 and have a clean driving record
Must be able to pass a criminal background check
Must be able to be registered as a security guard with PISGS and obtain a FAB Notation
Must be able to lift 50lbs
Must have the ability to walk multiple flights of stairs, be on your feet for long periods of time and endure the ever changing weather environment.
Must have the ability to read and write professional paperwork with correct grammar
Must have open availability with very minimal conflicts
Previous armed security experience preferred, but not required
Off-Duty police officers are encouraged to apply
