POSITION SUMMARY:
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be a key member of the leadership team, responsible for overseeing all financial activities within the organization. This includes financial planning, analysis, reporting, budgeting, treasury, risk management, human resources and compliance. The CFO will provide strategic financial guidance to support business growth, operational efficiency, and long-term profitability. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, strategic planning, and corporate governance, with experience working in companies of similar size and complexity.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Financial Leadership and Strategy:
- Lead the financial strategy for the company, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and growth goals.
- Provide insights and recommendations to the Leadership Team on financial performance, opportunities, and risks.
- Develop and execute long-term financial planning, forecasting, and capital allocation strategies.
Financial Management and Reporting:
- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and key financial metrics.
- Ensure the integrity of financial data, ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
- Implement and maintain internal controls and accounting systems to safeguard company assets.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Lead the annual budgeting process, collaborating with Leadership and Team Leads to develop financial plans and targets.
- Manage ongoing forecasting and financial performance reviews, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.
- Monitor cash flow and working capital to maintain liquidity and meet operational needs.
Risk Management and Compliance:
- Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks, including those related to market fluctuations, operational costs, and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, laws, and reporting requirements (e.g., Partnership and Sales Tax laws).
- Manage relationships with tax advisors, benefits administrators, and legal.
Leadership and Team Development:
- Build and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement utilizing technology.
- Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for finance staff, ensuring team alignment with company objectives.
Strategic Initiatives:
- Continue the development and utilization of NetSuite in all financial operations.
- Drive cost optimization initiatives and identify opportunities for revenue enhancement.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field (MBA preferred).
- CPA required
- 10 years of experience in senior financial leadership roles, with a proven track record in a $50M - $100M revenue company; experience in the construction industry is helpful.
- Strong knowledge of financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, reporting and LLC taxation.
- Expertise in financial statement preparation, corporate finance, and risk management.
- Experience with accounting software, ERP systems (NetSuite), and financial reporting tools.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.

Salary : $150,000 - $175,000
