About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for accepting and reviewing all incoming and outgoing inventory to ensure accurate and timely recording in our ERP system. Key duties include:
- Accepting and unpacking incoming shipments and checking against company standards
- Comparing receiving documents against add tapes and counting hides for accuracy
- Following quality procedures and documenting results
- Separating stock into individual packages and labeling them
- Placing items in bins using forklifts and processing receipts on the ERP system
- Maintaining a neat and orderly workspace
Required Skills and Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should have a high school diploma or equivalent, one to three months of related experience, and/or training. Essential skills include:
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence
- Ability to write simple correspondence and present information effectively
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and apply common sense understanding
- Familiarity with MAS 500 Inventory software and ability to drive a stand-up and sit-down forklift
