Maintenance Lead directs and organizes all Maintenance and Preventative activities associated with Moore Industries, Inc. and as needed to meet customer requirements.
Responsibilities
Team Leadership:
- Assign and delegate maintenance tasks to the maintenance technician team.
- Train and mentor junior technicians on proper maintenance procedures and troubleshooting techniques.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
Preventative Maintenance:
- Develop and implement comprehensive preventative maintenance schedules for all injection molding equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections of machines, including hydraulics, electrical systems, and mechanical components.
- Monitor wear and tear on critical parts and proactively plan for replacements.
Troubleshooting and Repair:
- Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues with injection molding machines.
- Perform repairs on equipment, including replacing worn parts, adjusting settings, and calibrating machines.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify root causes of equipment malfunctions.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, including parts used, repair times, and equipment status.
- Generate reports on maintenance trends, potential issues, and necessary capital expenditures.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Technical Expertise: Extensive knowledge of injection molding machinery, including hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and mechanical principles.
- Troubleshooting Skills: Ability to diagnose complex equipment issues and identify root causes.
- Leadership Abilities: Proven experience leading and motivating a team of maintenance technicians.
- Mechanical Aptitude: Strong hands-on skills for repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze situations, identify solutions, and implement corrective actions.
- Safety Awareness: Commitment to following safety procedures and ensuring a safe working environment.

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
