Job Objective: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Creative Writing Adjunct. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in creative writing and a commitment to fostering students' literary skills and artistic development.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree in Creative Writing or related subject
• Demonstrated excellence in creative writing (poetry, fiction, or creative nonfiction)
• Proven teaching experience preferred but not required
• Strong commitment to student mentorship and academic excellence
• Published works in literary journals, magazines, or books preferred
• Experience teaching multiple genres of creative writing
• Ability to work with diverse student populations

KEY RESPONSIBILITES

• Teach creative writing courses across various genres
• Develop comprehensive course syllabus and engaging curriculum with the help of your coordinator
• Provide constructive feedback on student writing
• Mentor students in developing their creative writing skills

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Adjunct position with flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Classes held in a well-equipped classroom setting.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift light materials.
• Please be ready to provide a portfolio or examples of sewing work during your interview.
