Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in commercial and residential settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements.
- Utilize hand tools and heavy machinery safely and effectively.
- Perform heavy lifting as needed to transport materials and equipment.
- Conduct field service tasks, addressing plumbing issues as they arise on-site.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met.
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations and best practices on the construction site.
- Provide guidance to apprentices or less experienced workers when necessary.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction plumbing or a related field.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing systems.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding of schematics.
- Ability to operate commercial driving vehicles as required for job duties.
- Familiarity with hand tools and heavy lifting techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
