Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumbing Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires proficiency in using various tools and equipment, along with the ability to read blueprints and schematics. While experience is preferred, it is not required—we welcome candidates who are eager to learn and grow in the plumbing field. As a Plumbing Installer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that water, drainage, and piping systems function effectively and safely.
Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools to complete plumbing tasks safely and efficiently.
- Perform tasks such as pipe fitting, soldering, and troubleshooting system malfunctions.
- Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or potential problems.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals, such as electricians and HVAC technicians, during remodeling projects.
- Apply basic math skills for measuring, cutting, and fitting plumbing components accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Experience in plumbing installation and repair is preferred but not required.
- Solid understanding of plumbing codes and regulations.
- Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading and schematic interpretation is essential.
- Experience in remodeling projects is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
