VDC Specialist Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled VDC Specialist to join our team at Moore's Electrical & Mechanical. As a VDC Specialist, you will be responsible for producing coordinated drawings in both 2D and 3D formats, which will be utilized by our fabrication center and field crews.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce high-quality, coordinated drawings using Revit and Navisworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and complete designs.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to effectively communicate design requirements and timelines.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Revit and Navisworks, preferably in the electrical and mechanical trade.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Able to work independently with a teamwork mindset.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Commercial HVAC and/or Electrical trade knowledge.
- Proficient math and reading skills.
