Job Overview :
As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance to employees, maintaining our IT infrastructure, and ensuring that our systems and tools run smoothly. You will be the go-to resource for tech support, software setup, onboarding / offboarding new employees, and general server maintenance. This is a key role that requires a balance of technical expertise and excellent customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities :
- Help Desk Support : Provide day-to-day support for employees on both Windows and Mac systems, troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Onboarding & Offboarding : Manage the IT-related aspects of employee onboarding and offboarding, including account creation, software installation, and equipment setup.
- Software Installation & Configuration : Install and configure essential software, including Office 365, HubSpot, and other business-critical applications.
- Server & Network Maintenance : Perform regular server and system updates, backups, and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and security.
- User Training : Conduct training sessions for employees on software tools, best practices, and security procedures.
- Systems & Data Security : Monitor system performance and assist in implementing security measures to protect the company’s data and infrastructure.
- Vendor Management : Work with third-party vendors for software licenses, hardware procurement, and service maintenance.
