We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Patent Docketing Specialist to join our team. This role requires someone who can efficiently manage patent docketing tasks while working in or accommodating the Central Time Zone. The ideal candidate is highly organized, with a strong understanding of patent procedures and the ability to track and maintain accurate records.
Key Responsibilities :
- Maintain and manage patent docketing systems, ensuring all deadlines and filings are accurately recorded and monitored.
- Review and process incoming correspondence related to patent filings, including office actions, filings, and other notices.
- Coordinate with attorneys and paralegals to track critical dates and ensure timely filings and responses.
- Update and maintain internal databases with patent information, including deadlines, statuses, and relevant documents.
- Generate docketing reports for attorneys and management, providing updates on key dates and upcoming deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with patent office rules and regulations, as well as internal best practices and protocols.
- Conduct periodic audits of the docketing system to verify accuracy and completeness.
