Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Bookkeeper at Morais Legacy Real Estate LLC in Canton, MA. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing financial statements, bookkeeping tasks, utilizing accounting software, handling finance-related tasks, and making journal entries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process in QuickBooks.
- Reconcile accounts and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
- Maintain and update financial statements, including balance sheets, income, and cash flow statements.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and invoicing.
- Prepare financial reports for management, tracking budget performance and cash flow.
- Assist with payroll processing and tax filings.
- Handle monthly and quarterly closing processes.
- Catagorize all intercompany transactions
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in real estate or construction.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and familiarity with tax regulations.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with teams.
Qualifications
- Financial Statements, Bookkeeping, and Journal Entries (Accounting) skills
- Experience with Accounting Software
- Background in Finance
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work well independently and in a team
- Relevant certification (e.g., CPA) is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Salary : $40,000 - $52,500
