Job Duties:
- Works in a safe manner, follows all established safety protocol.
- Reviews daily requirements for the shipment and/or inspection of assignment parts.
- Follows customers specification when packing and/or re-packing product.
- Inspects in process or finished goods as outlined on trouble reports, process sheets. temporary information notes or other communication tools from the engineering, quality and/or production departments.
- Completes all necessary paperwork and labelling or parts being inspected or packed.
- Follows verbal or written directions of production managements in the physical handling of individual parts on conveying system, index wheels or other transport systems.
- Performs visual inspections of assigned parts as completing task associated with loading or unloading equipment or processes.
- Performs all housekeeping duties as required per 5S requirements.
- Actively participates in TPM teams that are focused on root cause analysis, continual improvements activities, and new product development; as well as employee training and development.
- Leads through example with respect to professionalism and leadership in the execution and support of company policies and directives.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities as required (Fast Response, 8D, etc.)
- The employee is regularly required to sit, taste and smell.
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
- Previous quality inspection experience preferred.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret written directions, signs and other pertinent paperwork.
- Ability to complete paperwork and labels.
- Ability to communicate verbally or written in a professional manner.
- Basic math skills such as summation, subtraction, division, conversions, and multiplication.
- Basic computer skills required(Open programs, print labels, etc.)
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Must be able to lift product ranging in weight of several ounces to 35 pounds several times per hour throughout the shift.
- Must be able to walk, use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; and talk or hear.
- Frequently stand; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
- Must be ok with being exposed to moving mechanical parts and electrical shock hazards.
- Occasionally work in high, precarious places, various weather conditions, and in areas containing fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme cold, extreme heat and vibration.
- 8 hrs shift only
- Benefits once full time
- 2nd shift- Monday-Friday 3pm-11:30pm
- 3rd shift- Sunday-Thursday 11pm-7:30am
