What are the responsibilities and job description for the Discharge Coordinator/Procedure scheduler position at Mordo Suchov,MD?
- Busy Gastroenterology multiple providers recruiting a GI/Surgical scheduler/discharge planner
- Strong background in processing and discharging patients.
- Able to manage busy schedule while working closely with multiple providers
- Knowledge of GI procedures a plus.
- Able to relate to patients and assist them in procedure preparation process
- Knowledge of pre-op process
- Detailed lab orders, radiology, and referral process to include procedure clearance if needed
- Fast pace and large volume of patients 25 on a daily basis.
- May assist answering phones
- May assist provider with Spanish translation as need
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
