Responsibilities include but not limited to:
· Oversee daily practice operations, including appointment scheduling, billing procedures, staff scheduling
· Monitor patient flow through practice to ensure appropriate utilization of providers time and staff coverage
· Involved in building and monitoring practice budget and is responsible for budget compliance and tracking of variances.
· Ensures colleagues utilize Practice Management System appropriately and completely to schedule patients
· As updates are made to policy and procedures ensure they are communicated and implemented in a timely fashion within the practice (staff and providers)
· Works with providers to develop business strategies and patient services
· Monitor practice's progress in meeting annual targets and metrics
· Ensures staff members' interactions with patients reflect Standards of practice behavior
· Monitors and reviews patient registration and data entry into the system for timeliness, accuracy and thoroughness along with adherence to policies.
· Establish the monthly office meeting for staff and provided , for practice updates
· Evaluates each staff members’ performance and provides appropriate guidance and feedback
· Oversees the daily/monthly expenditures, staffing and work hours
· Develops and oversees implementation and administration internal practice policies and ensure practice is in compliance
· Oversee staff hiring, scheduling and training
· Works with the Central Billing Office to obtain/develop internal reports to allow monitoring of the billing process to verify all services are accurately billed on a timely basis.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associates Degrees and up preferred
- At least 2 years of administrative and management experience in office pratice
- Knowledge of insurance billing rules and regulations.
- Knowledge of practice management and electronic health record applications
- Must possess excellent communication and listening skills.
- Must command good customer service skills and able to multi-task.
- Must have the ability to interact with a variety of people with different personality and/or behaviors
- Must be available for on call as needed
- Must be reliable and dependable
- Computer Knowledge a plus
- Bilingual (Spanish & English) is a plus but not required
- Experience in Mental health and/or Primary care offices a plus but not required
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
