Summary/Objective
The Account Manager develops and maintains relationships with existing clients for all products produced by Richmond Baking Company and More Than A Bakery.
Essential Functions

- Primary contact with specified customers to build trusting relationships with assigned customers through regular communication, proactive outreach, and personalized attention.
- Takes overall responsibility for the success of specific customers’ relationship with the company.
- Meets and communicates with customers personally and virtually on a regular basis to assure a successful relationship.
- Answers inquiries from assigned customers concerning additional products and/or capabilities Richmond Baking Company offers.
- Understands customer needs and pain points to identify suitable service approach.
- Create and execute strategic plans to maximize customer satisfaction and revenue from existing customers.
- Provides information, quotes, credit terms, and other technical information to customers.
- Negotiates prices, terms of sales, and/or service agreements; review contracts and works with customers to maintain honest relationships.
- Collaborates with purchasing departments, customer service, and other staff within our company to confirm that orders are processed with accuracy and efficiency and shipped on time.
- Resolve customer issues promptly, address complaints, and provide ongoing support.
- Periodically prepares and reports results, status of accounts, and leads to manager.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Work Environment
Family members are sometimes exposed to hazardous situations. May work close to others, usually within a few feet. May work in settings that are loud or have distracting noises. Safety equipment such as gloves and hair nets may be necessary.
Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the family member is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. Family member must be able to lift 50 pounds, work in confined areas, and in awkward positions.

Some travel is expected for this position.
Requirements
Required Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Computer skills
- Minimum of 2 years’ related experience and/or training, preferably in manufacturing
- Prior relationship building experience required.
Preferred Education and Experience
Food Industry background a plus and/or college degree a plus. Proficiency in MS Office, excellent data entry skills, and familiarity with ERP systems. Ability to understand mathematical concepts to effectively analyze statistics regarding internal data such as throughputs, productivity, scrap, percent to goal calculations, gross and net weights of product, pricing conversions from pounds to units and to properly calculate lead times with different variables.
