About More Than Media:
We’re a lean, fast-growing video production and marketing company helping businesses and creators produce powerful content for websites, social media, and YouTube. Based in Carmel, IN, we focus on strategic visual storytelling that gets results.
What You’ll Be Selling:
- One-off video projects (brand stories, social content, event recaps, etc.)
- Recurring content retainers for YouTube, social media, online courses, and internal comms
What You’ll Do:
- Prospect and close business clients (startups, service providers, creators)
- Follow up with warm leads and past inquiries
- Attend sales calls and help prepare proposals in Pandadoc
- Track leads and deals in HubSpot
- Work 10-20 hours/week, remote and async-friendly
Compensation (1099 contractor):
- 15-20% commission on all new project and retainer deals
- 10% tail on retainers for up to 12 months
- Own your book of business: Keep earning as long as you maintain the client relationship
- Bonuses for hitting milestones
- No cap on earnings (see example breakdown at bottom of description)

Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales, particularly in outside sales and B2B environments
- Strong negotiation and customer service skills
- Familiarity with Salesforce and other sales technologies
- Ability to manage accounts and develop business opportunities
- Experience in retail sales and cold calling
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Background in marketing and technical sales is a plus
Average Deal Size:
- Most projects: $3,000–$5,000
- Monthly retainers: $1,000–$5,000 /month
- That’s $600–$1,000 per closed deal, plus recurring commission for retainers
Example:
- Close 3 projects per month = $9,000 in revenue = $1,800 in commission
- Add one $2,000/month retainer = $400 up front $200/month recurring
