Job Duties
The Advanced Practice Partner (APP) (Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant) will primarily perform diagnosing, orders, conducts, supervises and interprets diagnostic and laboratory tests, prescribes pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatments in the direct management of acute and chronic illness and disease. The APP promotes health and the prevention of illness and injury. The APP practices autonomously and in collaboration with other health care professionals to treat and manage patient health problems. The role of the APP includes direct patient / family care, consultation, research, patient / families / groups / communities advocacy, performance improvement, and leadership & professional development.

It is MSM’s Immunization policy that all Prospective Employees are required to provide proof that they are vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to commencement of employment. If employment will commence during Flu Season, MSM requires all individuals to provide proof that they are vaccinated against Seasonal Influenza for the current Flu Season, unless granted an exemption. Failure to provide proof of vaccination for any required vaccines or obtain an exemption from MSM will result in rescission of a candidate’s offer of employment or disciplinary action up to and including termination.
