Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of three (3) years of administrative/coordination experience with continually increasing management responsibility.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working with medical education programs.

Job Duties
Description of Job Duty
- Coordinate the daily operations of the psychiatry medical education program.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for students, faculty, and affiliate sites for any issues or questions relating to undergraduate medical education.
- Provide primary programmatic support to the UME Program Manager, Clerkship Director, Associate Clerkship Director, and course directors to include preparing presentations, developing complex reports, creating letters of recommendation, exams, syllabi, and other materials as requested.
- Maintain accurate student records.
- Maintain rotation and clinical site schedules and resolve scheduling conflicts.
- Participate in and/or conduct clerkship orientations and develop orientation schedules for students.
- Proctor and grade student exams.
- Prepare and submit student grades and coordinate the timely collection, tracking, and reporting of evaluations and grades in the system.
- Collaborate with the Program Manager to prepare data analysis reports and provide ongoing data collection and analysis.
- Review and analyze trends in grades and track student performance according to MSM’s averages, national averages, and expected outcomes.
- Participate in the preparation of LCME accreditation materials and maintain updated affiliation agreements for all relevant educational sites.
- Provide supervision to students by assessing attendance and ensuring that they adhere to timely submissions of coursework and evaluations.
- Provide support for the Psychiatry Student Interest Group Network, PsychSIGN.
- Collaborate with the Director of Administration and Finance and Program Manager to ensure adequate teaching materials, equipment, space, etc. are provided.
- Serve as the department’s initial point of contact and support person for the one 45 curriculum management system.
- Function as the department expert for One45 and Canvas.
- Support the Program Manager in overseeing the medical education division budget, including completing budget transfers, tracking expenses, and maintaining records of budget expenditures. Initiate and follow up on requisitions, travel requests, and orders such as educational supplies, books, and audio-visual equipment
- Travel periodically to various clerkship sites within the metro Atlanta area to survey the sites and obtain information from students and faculty.
- Liaise with site personnel to maintain and enhance cooperative relationships
