JOB SUMMARY
The Moreland Pregnancy Navigator is a specialized nursing professional who helps guide obstetrical patients through effective clinical care coordination. They serve as advocates and a consistent point of contact for obstetrical patients to help them navigate care throughout their pregnancy and postpartum period. The RN Navigator systematically and continuously collects and assesses information related to patient health status to develop, execute, and evaluate the plan of care for patients and/or family.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS
· Registered nurse in the state of WI and CPR certified
· 3 years of Obstetrical nursing experience required
· Phone triage experience preferred
· Demonstrated skill in patient education, counseling in critically
navigating through a patient’s chief concern and performing obstetrical nursing clinical assessment.
· Possess a calm and caring demeanor. Exceptional empathy, interpersonal and communication skills. The ability to modify communication techniques that reflect respect for patient rights, dignity, values, culture preferences, and expressed needs.
· Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills
· Computer skills, including Epic chart navigation and charting, Microsoft Word, and Excel
