What are the responsibilities and job description for the Morning Weight Room Supervisor position at Morenci Middle/High School?
Morenci Area Schools is seeking an individual to fill our open morning weight room supervisor position.
PAY RATE
Per Bargaining Agreement
SUMMARY
To help each participating student achieve a high level of skill, an understanding of the strategies of the sport, an appreciation for the values of discipline, sportsmanship, and teamwork, and an increased level of self-esteem.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to obtain current CPR/AED/First Aid certification
- Ability to work effectively with sports coaching staff, parents, and school staff
- Experience working with high school-aged students preferred
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- 3 mornings/week from the conclusion of fall sports until the beginning of fall sports (off during scheduled school breaks and summer dead period)
- Create and implement a general weight room work-out
- Record lifts, max's and PR's
- Demonstrate and enforce safe lifting practices
- Supervise and maintain a safe environment
- Flexible schedule (can work around personal vacations)
