What are the responsibilities and job description for the Systems Architect position at Morfologica?
Morfologica, Inc. is seeking several System Architects who are willing to support established teams of software engineers at various Federal Facilities throughout Northern Virginia.
Qualified candidates must have over 15 years experience in designing and developing solutions to complex applications problems, system administration issues, or network concerns. Candidates must have experience in performing system management and integration functions. Qualified candidates must also have the ability to analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems and to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations.
ONLY CANDIDATES WITH ACTIVE GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCES AND APPROPRIATE POLY WILL BE CONSIDERED.
Skills & Requirements
Candidates must have several years of System Architect experience.
Knowledge
- Ability to explain technical issues clearly and accurately to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to translate requirements into end-to-end designs for systems that involve multiple interfaces and supporting data repositories.
- Experience with Java and JavaScript.
- Experience with Web Services, Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), Business Intelligence / Data Warehousing solutions, data management technologies (Extract-Transform-Load (ETL), Data Profiling, Data Mining, Metadata Repositories)
- Experience with Ruby, Python, Lisp or C / C .
- Experience with Eclipse, Ant, JUnit, Apache, Tomcat.
- Experience with HTML / XHTML and XML.
- Experience Oracle and MySQL.
Candidates with fewer years of experience may also be considered depending on background.
