What are the responsibilities and job description for the FMS Acquisition/Program Analyst-IWS 3 (Journeyman) position at Morgan Business Consulting, LLC?
We are currently seeking an FMS Acquisition/Program Analyst to join our team based in Arlington, Virginia, supporting PEO IWS 3.0. This position is hybrid, and requires 3 days on-site in Crystal City (Arlington), VA.
What you’ll do:
PEO IWS 3.0 designs, produces, fields and maintains naval surface weapons systems. The FMS Acquisition/Program Analyst will provide FMS contract generation, award and management support.
Responsibilities:
- Generate and manage FMS contracts
- Track funds retrieved through the Managment Information System for International Logistics (MISIL)
- Provide FMS Case oversight to support action tracking, financial tracking, and material deliverables tracking
- Draft, review, route formal memos responding to actions, providing Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) costs
- Develop presentations, meeting minutes, letter and memoranda and tracking action items
- Effectively prepare and participate in meeting and interact regularly with internal clients to support FMS program requirements.
- Attend meetings and program reviews, assist with compiling presentations, written materials, and/or electronic communications as required
- Travel domestically and internationally, provide in-person support at MBC and client sites, and obtain and maintain professional certifications and security clearances as required by MBC and/or MBC’s clients. These requirements are subject to change without advance notice at the discretion of MBC and MBC’s clients
Qualifications:
- Prior Acquisition and Contracts experience
- Knowledge of FMS cradle to grave case phases (Pre-LOR, LOA development, Case Execution and Case Closure)
- Familiarity with DSCA, SCIP, NEPS
- Bachelor’s degree from an institution accredited in the United States PLUS 5 years of relevant experience. (A master's degree or an associate degree and 10 years' experience may be substituted)
- Active Secret Security clearance
- Proactive, and detail oriented; capable of developing resolutions to support program goals and objectives
- Ability to change priorities with ease
- Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong verbal and written interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally using a credit card or prepaid debit card as required by MBC and/or clients
Compensation Policy:
Salary ranges displayed are typical for this position, but MBC considers multiple factors when extending an offer. Factors include the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's qualifications, and the contractual terms of the program.
