We are currently seeking a Junior Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Financial Analyst to join our team in San Diego, CA. This position is hybrid and requires on-site attendance Tuesdays/Thursdays (2 days) per week in San Diego.
What you’ll do:
The Junior FMS Financial Analyst will provide financial management support to the U.S. Navy’s MIDS program office.
Responsibilities:
- With guidance and supervision assist in performing the following:
- Provide funding establishment, allocation and transfer in NERP
- Administrative funding, budget exhibit development, submission and execution
- Provide case reconciliation, financial anomaly resolution and FMS case closure
- Assist with the annual SAPBR data call and other data calls as required
- Attend meetings and provide client support onsite/in person when required
- Travel domestically and internationally, provide in-person support at MBC and client sites, and obtain and maintain professional certifications and security clearances as required by MBC and/or MBC’s clients. These requirements are subject to change without advance notice at the discretion of MBC and MBC’s clients
Qualifications:
- Bachelors’ degree from a school accredited in the US
- 3 years’ related work experience
- Eligible to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance
- Energetic, enthusiastic and willing to learn. We are excited to train you!
- Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask
- Strong verbal and written interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally using a credit card or prepaid debit card as required by MBC and/or client
