Employment Category: Part-Time
Hours: 8 - 16 hours per week, flexible hours, evening and weekend hours may be required.
Pay Range: Based on experience.
Grant Funded: No
Benefits: Benefit package includes enrollment in Ohio Public Employees Retirement System.
Essential Duties:
Provide basic non-pharmaceutical intervention training for infectious diseases throughout the community.
Maintain cleanliness of local health department.
Provide cleaning supplies and schedule home services to identified clients in our underserved populations to limit the spread of disease and injuries.
· Clean and sanitize the health department facility.
· Stock health department restrooms with supplies as needed.
· Network with community agencies to identify clients.
· Assist with coordination of offsite prevention services to underserved areas and the health needs of populations especially at-risk of adverse outcomes of infectious disease or injury.
Minimum Experience/Qualifications:
· High school diploma or GED, Associate degree preferred
· Experience in public health, or related field preferred
· Must have a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation
· Must be able to provide proof of automobile insurance
· Must successfully pass a background check
· Must have willingness to learn new skills, be adaptable/flexible
· Must have ability to use computer applications and including MS Office products
· Must have excellent customer service skills, verbal and written communication skills
· Must have excellent interpersonal relationship skills including cultural sensitivity
