JOB SUMMARY
The incumbent performs a variety of Clerical and SAP Systems tasks. The position serves as the focal point for the coordination of all day-to-day Shipping/Inventory functions thus providing direction to union shipping and inventory personnel, office clerical and inventory control personnel.
SPECIFIC TASKS, DUTIES, AND/OR ACCOUNTABILITIES
Direction:
1. Assist building monitors with resolution of stock issues in bins and system information. (These tasks run throughout the day)
a. Checking open TO’s on bins before making inventory adjustments to ensure integrity of the inventory.
b. Doing consolidation movements in the system to open up stock bins for new placement.
c. Identify problems in stock bin configurations and make necessary corrections.
d. Resolve any other issues on day-to-day basis.
2. Transfer order confirmations for deliveries, stock placement and stock transfers. (Delivery confirmations primarily in the am as needed in the pm.
3. Cycle counts
a. Scheduling—Identifying problem areas and scheduling counts.
b. Monitor the cycle count process.
c. Entering final counts and resolving discrepancies.
d. Reconciling cycle counts and posting.
4. Assist labeling/wareroom supervisors on stock placement and movement issues.
5. Research issues surrounding bright vs. labeled discrepancies.
a. Research open transfer orders on bright product to insure all correct products have been transferred.
b. Make appropriate movements and adjustments in system to resolve product discrepancies.
6. Quality holds, although new processes need to be trained on.
a. All issues surrounding QA holds and releases.
b. Dispositions i.e. Salvage, rework, disposals and return to stock.
c. FDA issues in the event of green product shipments.
7. Check warehouses for open rows and view system for accuracy.
8. Any tasks determined on an as need basis.
9. Recreate license plates that do not exist and provide support to other areas that effect inventory.
10. Responsible for PSA confirmations and PSA balances
11. Consolidation of license plates and increasing/decreasing the quantities of plates as needed.

Support Accountabilities:
1. Provides support and ‘back-up’ for other positions within the department including:
a) Transportation Coordinator
b) Shipping Clerk
c) PSA
d) Transportation
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
- High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience
- Computer literacy at an intermediate to advanced level
- Clerical and/or administrative experience
- Shipping and/or Inventory Control experience preferred but not required
- Intermediate math skills
- Planning and organizing skills
- Customer Service and problem resolution experience preferred, but must become trained in this area.
