Job Summary
Job Title : TK-5 Summer School Special Education Teacher
Job Description :
We are seeking dedicated and passionate educators to teach TK-5 students during our 2025 summer school program. Teachers will work 4 days per week from June 16 to July 18, 2025, with teacher hours from 8 : 00 AM to 1 : 00 PM. The program focuses on strengthening foundational skills in literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional development through engaging and interactive lessons.
Key Details :
Schedule : 4 days a week for 5 weeks, June 16 - July 18, 2025.
Hours : 8 : 00 AM - 1 : 00 PM (including student arrival / dismissal).
Preparation : 3 professional learning days the week before summer school begins 06 / 10 / 2025 - 06 / 12 / 2025
Responsibilities :
Plan and deliver high-quality, developmentally appropriate instruction.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
Monitor student progress and provide feedback to students and families as needed.
Collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional learning days to enhance instructional strategies.
Qualifications :
Valid Special Education Teaching Credential and experience teaching TK-5 students preferred.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Commitment to supporting all students in achieving success.

Requirements / Qualifications
Appropriate California SPECIAL EDUCATION credential with CLAD or BCLAD equivalent.
