Summary :
The Utilities Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing utility-related accounting processes, energy data management, and sustainability initiatives across the organization. This position establishes and maintains strong collaborative relationships with Regional Managers, Property Managers, and other field personnel to align utility operations with company goals. The Utilities Manager is responsible for managing the dynamic relationship between energy reporting requirements and property-level energy data while driving process improvements, compliance, and cost efficiency. Success in this role requires a proactive , detail-oriented , and innovative approach to utility management and sustainability. The Utilities Manager will be a key contributor to enhancing operational excellence and advancing the companys broader environmental and financial objectives.
Essential Duties :
Utility Operations Management
- Identify and address billing errors, leaks, or other operational issues by working closely with Vendors and on-site personnel.
- Oversee third-party Utility Expense Management (UEM) providers to ensure proper account configurations and service setups.
- Collaborate with UEM providers and utility vendors to prevent late payments and fees while maintaining uninterrupted services.
- Monitor and evaluate the support ticket system used by subordinate analysts, ensuring efficient resolution of utility-related issues.
