Overview
We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as Construction Laborers. In this role, you will play a vital part in various construction projects, remodeling projects, assisting skilled tradespeople and ensuring that work sites are safe and organized. This position is ideal for those who enjoy working outdoors at times and are eager to contribute to the building and renovation of structures. All candidates must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. All candidates must be able to pass a Pre Employment Drug Test, and pass all random drug testing when called upon
Duties
- Assist in the preparation of construction sites by clearing debris and setting up necessary equipment.
- Responsible for performing carpentry labor, material handling, and job site cleanup as assigned by the Lead Carpenter.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment required for construction tasks.
- Support skilled tradespeople in their duties, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and masonry.
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your team members.
- Operate basic hand tools and power tools under supervision.
- Perform general maintenance tasks as needed to ensure the work site remains clean and organized.
- Respectful of customer’s property. Protects furniture/belongings from construction materials, debris, etc.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure project timelines are met.
- Demonstrates positive customer and fellow employee relations.
- Understands and complies with all company policies and safety guidelines.
- Attends company meetings and company functions as requested.
Experience
- Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred but not required; we welcome those eager to learn.
- Strong communication skills.
- Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools is a plus.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work well within a team environment.
- The ability to read and understand construction documentation.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) as needed.
- A commitment to safety practices on the job site is essential.

Pay: $20.04 - $21.26 per hour
