Position Overview:
Our client, a dynamic property management company in Cape Coral, is seeking an experienced Director of Finance and Administration to join their leadership team. This role requires a proactive and innovative professional with a strong background in financial leadership, capable of managing diverse responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have over five years of experience in financial leadership, with a CPA or MBA preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all financial operations, including maintaining accurate records, overseeing payroll, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations and internal controls.
- Strategically manage cash flow, ensuring adequate funding for business operations and growth, while developing accurate financial forecasts.
- Design and deliver financial reports, budgets, and models to support informed decision-making and provide critical insights to the executive team and stakeholders.
- Act as a financial steward, collaborating with leadership to implement data-driven strategies that improve efficiency, resolve operational challenges, and prepare the company for scalability.
- Offer practical financial recommendations that align with the company’s strategic goals and objectives.
- Oversee financial and HR systems, ensuring they are optimized for compliance, accuracy, and operational effectiveness.
- Coordinate with external auditors and accounting firms to manage tax filings and conduct financial reviews.
- Champion operational improvements by identifying and implementing initiatives that enhance efficiency and productivity across financial functions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or MBA strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of financial leadership experience, ideally within a property management or service-based industry.
- Strong expertise in cash flow management, financial modeling, and implementing scalable financial systems.
- Proven ability to balance high-level strategy with hands-on execution.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of improving financial performance.
- Advanced proficiency in financial software, systems integration, and business intelligence tools.
- Outstanding communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and influence strategic decisions.
