Automotive Painter Job Summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join Morgan Truck Body LLC as a skilled Automotive Painter. As part of our production team, you will be responsible for painting and preparing trucks to customer specifications at a high level of skill and quality.
The Nuts and Bolts:
- Paint full bodies, chassis and cabs, trailers and tractors with various tools such as Cup Gun, Pressure Pot, Plural System, Airless Sprayer
- Read and interpret blueprints and work orders
- Set up and perform preventative maintenance of tools and machines
- Perform safety and quality checks
- Work and adhere to all safety policies
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply paint to trucks in accordance with customer specifications
- Operate equipment such as spray guns and pressure pots
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning and sanding
- Maintain a safe working environment by following safety procedures
Requirements:
- Basic math and computer skills
- Experience with paint tools and ability to read blueprints
- Able to lift up to 35 pounds and stand for extended periods
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in manufacturing or working on truck bodies
