Experienced Welder - 2nd Shift Opportunity Available
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced welder to join our team on the 2nd shift. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing, with at least 6 years of experience and proficiency in three or more welding materials: mild steel, galvanneal, carbon steel, aluminum, stainless steel.
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a multitude of welding equipment, working primarily on aluminum, steel, and galvanneal, requiring a high grade of skill. They will also be expected to ensure high safety measures while working, donning protective gear for the face and body, and examining equipment after welding to advise maintenance of defects.
Main Responsibilities:
- Wiring for trucks from front to rear lights, camera sensors, and any other custom requests
- Welding metals according to customer or employer requirements
- Installing a variety of lift gates, walk ramps, and platforms
- Operating heavy equipment such as industrial saws
Requirements:
- Must be able to pass a weld test
- Must be proficient in three or more of the welding materials listed above
- Must have 6 years of welding experience or more
- Basic math, tape measurement, and computer skills
- Able to understand and comprehend measurement
- Able to read and interpret blueprints for special applications
- Must be 18 years old
