**About the Job:**
Morgan Truck Body LLC is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team.
This role involves performing basic troubleshooting and repair of electrical and mechanical systems associated with production equipment and facilities.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of general millwright technics, welding, rigging, and electrical devices.
They should also be familiar with predictive / preventative proactive maintenance and safety protocols such as LOTO, Fall Protection, and Confined Space practices.
Responsibilities:
- Work and adhere to all safety policies within the work area and throughout Morgan Corporation.
- Collaborate with team members in a safety-conscious environment.
- Safely operate hand and portable tools, including power and non-powered equipment.
- Read precision measuring equipment and apply measurements based on instruction.
- Troubleshoot PLCs and understand electrical circuits (AC and DC).
- Operate complex heavy equipment like forklifts, scissor lifts, basket trucks, and overhead cranes.
- Work at elevated areas using proper fall protection.
- Understand quality policies and read/interpret work orders.
- Be willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidays if required.
- Meet physical requirements, including lifting up to 35 lbs and standing for long periods.
- Perform other duties as required by management.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent GED preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in a maintenance department associated with a manufacturing setting.
- Possess knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Valid driver's license.
