DESCRIPTION / RESPONSIBILITIES:
This job requires the ability to work under supervision, work well with others, as well as independently. Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and hold advanced maintenance skills. Be available for call outs working all shifts and weekends. Operation for wastewater treatment plants and facilities in a manner consistent with MUB goals/guidance, and in full compliance with the law.
Duties are as follows but are not limited to:
- Order supplies and repair parts
- Able to stand/walk for prolonged periods of time.
- Properly collect, handle, store and/or submit samples of wastewater and effluent at various process stages
- Monitor and adjust treatment processes as required
- Collect and enter process data into SCADA system
- Run simple process test to ensure proper operation
- Responsible for the plant security and operations while on duty
- Inspect Sewage Pumps, Greasing of Bearings, Adjusting/Replacing Packing and Unplugging
- Maintain WWTP Equipment, Buildings and Grounds in a clean orderly manner
- Accurately maintain log sheets, books, and other operational records
- Receive, Handle and Administer various Chemicals through the Sewage Treatment
- Understand and excel at both conventional activated sludge along with membrane activated sludge
REQUIREMENTS:
- Currently a holder of a valid Wastewater Class II, III, or IV license is Required. The ability to achieve a Class IV is preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License
- Have basic mathematic calculations and measurements skills
