What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dishwasher position at Morning Belle?
Cooks at Morning Belle have a passion for delivering well executed recipes that meet the restaurant’s standards and delight the guests. They ensure dishes for each table are ready and delivered at the same time to ensure consistency and freshness of food. They are responsible for meeting the restaurant’s standards and cooking recipes to exact specifications. Cooks, in partnership with the management team and the kitchen team, ensure all standards for cleanliness, food safety and employee safety are always met.
Essential Duties:
- Prepares and produces menu items in various kitchen stations, meeting all established kitchen standards and recipe specifications to provide high quality and well executed food for guests
- Communicates timing with other stations to ensure all items are ready at the same time for each order
- Cleans and organizes walk-in coolers, food production areas, equipment, and general kitchen areas
- Properly and safely stores food and chemicals in accordance with Meritage, HACCP, OSHA, and sanitation guidelines
- Organizes food production by assisting in hanging tickets for fellow cooks
- Completes all required training for the role
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Previous cook experience preferred
- Must be at least 18 years old
