Host or Hostess Job Description:
Position Reports to:
General Manager
Basic Functions:
As our restaurant’s host or hostess, you’ll be instrumental in keeping business flowing smoothly and efficiently. You are the first person to greet our guests and the art ones to speak with them as they leave. Our entire staff, from the front of the house to the back of the house, will rely on you to begin our guests’ dining experience. Hostess responsibilities include quality steps of service, menu knowledge, taking orders, serving dishes, and table maintenance, and general organization.
