What are the responsibilities and job description for the Experienced Community Inclusion Specialist position at Morning Star Supportive Services Corporation?
- Support people with intellectual disabilities in ways that demonstrate to the community, a belief in the philosophy of community inclusion and acceptance
- Teach and assist with daily living skills like cooking, housekeeping, budgeting, shopping, and other skill building supports and goals
- Provide and assist with direct care such as personal care and hygiene
- Promote and advocate for the health and wellness of the people supported
- Support individuals to become independent, make decisions, and live a meaningful dignified life with valued social roles (ex: friend, neighbor, student, employee)
- Provide transportation with company van to and from the center.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
