We are seeking a growth-minded Marketing Data Scientist to join our Customer Data Programs team. This role will be the lead for our hospitality resort client in addition to being an integral part of our agency's data platforms. You will play a key role in driving customer insights and marketing optimizations to boost business performance.
Our client is in growth mode - making investments in digital and data transformation throughout their organization. The Marketing Data Scientist position requires someone comfortable working across different data-focused disciplines- including data science, data engineering, and business intelligence. This role is involved in high-impact data projects from the ground floor as we collectively support growth initiatives for the client’s business and our agency. Our ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in data science principles, strong programming skills and experience with data pipelines and warehousing. They will also have an interest in using AI to accelerate projects and a curiosity for uncovering data-driven stories.
What You’ll Be Doing :
- Responsible for developing and implementing advanced analytics models to better understand and predict customer outcomes to drive personalized experiences through our omni-channel marketing platforms.
- Develop, implement, and deploy advanced analytics, attribution and propensity models that flow into our data-driven marketing platforms.
- Perform data cleaning, pre-processing, and feature engineering.
- Train and evaluate models.
- Build and maintain data pipelines and warehousing.
- Process and transform data for use in machine learning models and business intelligence reporting.
- Build audience segmentations.
- Develop reports and dashboards to provide insights on brand and growth performance.
- Analyze data and identify trends.
- Build data-driven stories and communicate with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Partner with cross-collab teams to develop optimization strategies based on the outputs of models and insights.
- Collaborating in a creative environment with cross-functional teams both internally and with clients. Our work should not live in a silo.
- Managing, collaborating with, and advancing growth of our Senior Marketing Analyst.
- Keep on trend with the latest advancements in AI, data science, and data engineering.
- Contribution to growing our customer data programs practice.

Compensation & Benefits :
The salary range for this position is $115,000 to $130,000 . Other benefits include medical, dental and vision coverage as well as company premium-paid Life Insurance, LTD and STD. Morning Walk also matches your 401(k) contributions up to 6% (discretionary and subject to change). We offer PTO upon hire (pro-rated depending on hire date) and paid holidays. Morning Walk employees may also be eligible for bonus compensation based on multiple factors including Agency, group and individual performance.
This a hybrid role. You have the option to work remotely 2 days a week (Tues. / Thurs.) Our team loves to collaborate in person out of our Milwaukee or Chicago office for the other 3 days (Mon. / Weds. / Fri.)
