What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director - Surveillance position at MORONGO BAND OF MISSION INDIANS INC?
The Surveillance Director will ensure that Operations are complying with all NIGC and Tribal Gaming Ordinance regulations. Manage the Surveillance Department’s daily operations. Implement Department’s policies and procedures. Manage the training and scheduling of Department personnel. Interview applicants for Surveillance positions. Evaluate applicants for employment. Brief Executive Director on department issues/concerns/occurrences. Work with Casino/Tribal Operations on various investigatory projects.
• Ensure that Casino/Tribal Operations remain in full compliance with all NIGC/Gaming Ordinance Regulations
• Develop, implement, maintain and monitors effective team member relations through effective communication
• Direct the managers to properly supervise their shifts.
• Ability to provide clear direction, instruction, and guidance to department in reference to meeting their respective job expectations.
• Maintain Surveillance budget.
• Develop and maintain staff schedules, conduct performance/salary reviews. Implement training for staff.
• Assist casino/hotel operations in maintaining surveillance on questionable activities of customers and employees.
• Oversee all surveillance equipment maintenance.
• Supervisory authority over the department.
