What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Technician I position at MORONGO BAND OF MISSION INDIANS?
Supports tribal government staff with technical support of desktop computers, software, telecommunication systems, and related technology. Support includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, upgrading and testing of computer systems and peripherals. Position provides one-on-one support to end users, assists in the maintenance and testing of network servers, and associated networking equipment. Responsibilities require independent analysis, communication and problem solving.
- High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate.
- The position requires 1 year of experience working with personal computers, laptops, telecommunications systems, LANs, data/voice equipment, and data cabling.
- Experience supporting Microsoft server and office software.
- Information Technology-related coursework from an accredited college or trade school in computer science, computer information systems, data processing, information management, or a closely related field is preferred.
- Valid California driver’s license and insurable on Morongo’s vehicle insurance
