Qualifications:
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of classified information. Must be proficient with various PC-based software programs such as HRMS, ATS and Microsoft Suite applications. Effectively balances multiple priorities simultaneously and meets deadlines; demonstrated ability to manage projects from start to finish. Meeting assigned objectives and timelines required. Demonstrated history of working well independently and as part of a team and has strong relationship-building and team-building skills. Communicates clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing. Demonstrates effective interpersonal, negotiation and public communication skills with a wide range and size of audiences.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or GED required. Associate's degree; or equivalent from two-year College; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum one year related experience in Human Resources. Working knowledge of online job boards such as Ziprecruiter, Indeed, Monster, etc.
LICENSES, CERTIFICATES, REGISTRATIONS:
Must undergo and successfully pass a background investigation to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Morongo Gaming Agency.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret and implement documents such as policies and procedures, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively to members of the public or team members.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add and subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to solve problems with limited guidance. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form. Must be diplomatic and tactful with all persons, and use judgment in disseminating information and reporting facts.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear. Sufficient dexterity of hand in order to use office equipment including, but not limited to: a computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment and multi-line telephone. Hearing sufficient to hear conversational levels in person and over the telephone. Speech sufficient to make oneself heard and understood in person, in front of groups, in meetings, and over the telephone. Visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned, or to make general observations of facilities, guests and team members. Use close, distance, peripheral vision, and depth perception. The team member is occasionally required to walk and reach with hands and arms. The team member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The office environment has low to moderate noise levels, has good lighting and is a non-smoking environment. The casino environment has moderate to loud noise levels and has dim to moderate lighting, is often crowded and is a smoking environment.
WORKING HOURS:
Because we are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, most positions require flexibility in scheduling and may require Team Members be available for evenings, weekends, holidays and special events. A typical workweek is 40 hours and normal work schedules may vary based on business needs and may include scheduled shifts Monday through Sunday. Position may require overtime.

Responsibilities:
- Screens all resumes and connects with potential candidates in a timely manner.
- Assists hiring managers in setting up interviews.
- Conducts pre-screen interviews by phone and interviews in person.
- Actively participates in all staffing related activities, (job fairs) and engages in cross functional activities.
- Coordinates with Morongo Gaming Agency to ensure completion of pre-employment screening requirements are met such as background checks and drug screening.
- Ensures all actions related to new hires, status changes and/or transfers are updated and recorded to ensure accurate payroll and benefit transactions can be completed.
- Examines Team Member files to answer inquiries and provide information to authorized persons.
- Maintains the Human Resources electronic bulletin boards.
- Creates ad-hoc reports to provide management with effectiveness of recruitment methods.n
- Performs other job related duties as assigned.
