Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office/Human Resource Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in helping to ensure the smooth operation of our office by performing administrative tasks, providing exceptional customer support, and maintaining an efficient front desk environment. This position requires strong time management skills and proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office, along with a commitment to fostering a positive workplace atmosphere.
Salary is commensurate dependant on experience and qualifications.
This position can be hired as a part-time or full-time position.
Responsibilities
- Help maintain daily office operations.
- Serve as the first point of contact for visitors and clients at the front desk, providing a welcoming atmosphere.
- Maintain organized filing systems and ensure that all documents are easily accessible.
- Provide customer support by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Assist in managing office supplies and inventory, ensuring that necessary materials are always available.
- Utilize Google Suite and Microsoft Office for document creation, data entry, and communication with team members.
- Collaborate with other departments to facilitate effective communication and workflow.
- Perform various administrative tasks as needed to support the overall efficiency of the office.
Experience
- Proven experience in an office administration role or similar position is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Google Suite applications (Docs, Sheets, Calendar) is essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft office applications (Word, Excel, etc) is essential.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Computer literacy is required; familiarity with office equipment is a plus.

- Previous experience in customer support or office management is advantageous but not mandatory.
Human Resource Support Role:
Employee Records Management:
- Maintaining and updating employee files (both physical and digital).
- Ensuring accurate and confidential data storage.
- Managing employee life cycle events (hiring, promotions, terminations).
Payroll and Benefits Administration:
- Processing payroll, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
- Administering employee benefits programs (health insurance, retirement plans, etc.).
- Handling employee inquiries related to payroll and benefits.
Recruitment and Hiring:
- Assisting with the recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Coordinating with hiring managers to ensure a smooth hiring process.
Employee Relations and Support:
- Addressing employee concerns and inquiries.
- Providing guidance and support on HR policies and procedures.
- Facilitating communication between management and employees.
HR Operations and Compliance:
- Assisting with the implementation and maintenance of HR policies and procedures.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations.
- Preparing HR-related reports and data.
Training and Development:
- Assisting with the planning and execution of training programs.
- Supporting employee development initiatives.
