Work Responsibilities:
The Process Cooling Sales Engineer position requires technical capabilities and previous engineering sales experience.
Job Duties:
Specific job responsibilities of the Process Cooling Sales Engineer will include but are not limited to:
- Build on relationships with existing customers to find new opportunities outside of normal services.
- Work with other members of sales team to support ongoing sales of ice systems and custom thermal projects.
- Acquire new contacts in various industries (examples include Baking, Produce, Nuclear, etc.).
- Network with industrial refrigeration contractors and suppliers to broaden Morris' pipeline for opportunities.
- Attend relevant industry trade shows and events.
- Utilize CRM (customer relationship management) software to track sales pipeline.
- Travel to customer sites to formulate first plans/solutions for customer applications.
- Work with application engineering to develop solutions and follow through with quotation to customer.
- Maintain customer contacts through sales, installation and operations of solutions.
Key Relationships:
- This position reports directly to Director of Process Cooling
- Direct communication with engineering, sales and service teams
Education:
- BS Engineering or at least 5 years in industrial refrigeration technical position
- Sales training
