Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have foundational experience in project management, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to support cross-functional teams and contribute to the successful execution of projects within scope, schedule, and budget. This role also involves direct interaction with customers and external partners, requiring professionalism, clear communication, and responsiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the planning and coordination of projects from initiation through close-out.
- Assist in defining project scope, goals, and deliverables with guidance from senior team members and stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of project schedules, resource plans, and task lists.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with customers and external stakeholders, providing timely updates and support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Participate in the development of engineered solutions under the direction of more senior staff.
- Monitor day-to-day project activities and report progress, issues, and risks to project leadership.
- Help track project budgets and expenses, providing regular updates to senior project managers.
- Assist in preparing project documentation, status updates, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
- Promote a collaborative team environment and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 13 years of experience in project coordination or project management, preferably within an industrial or technical environment.
- Interest in engineering and technical systems, with a willingness to learn complex processes.
- PMP or CAPM certification is a plus but not required.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
- Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members, leadership, customers, and external partners at various levels of an organization.
- Comfortable managing priorities in a fast-paced environment with support from senior managers.
- Basic proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello).
