Position Overview: Become a part of our vibrant team at our headquarters in Shreveport! We are searching for a talented and dependable facilities maintenance technician committed to maintaining the highest standards of functionality and upkeep of our facilities and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing repairs, electrical component replacements, and HVAC system upkeep.
Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve potential issues proactively.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders.
Troubleshoot and diagnose facility-related problems, recommending and implementing practical solutions.
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and inspections.
Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized services.
Uphold cleanliness in the working environment while adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
Assist with setting up and dismantling facilities for events or special functions.
Conduct preventative maintenance to extend equipment and facility lifespan.
Monitor and manage inventory levels of maintenance supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 2 years of experience as a Facilities Maintenance Technician or in a similar role, preferably within the healthcare or related industry.
Strong plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general maintenance knowledge.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Strong attention to detail and a proactive maintenance approach.
Physical capability to lift heavy objects and perform manual tasks.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a team.
Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations in facility maintenance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Trade school or vocational training in facilities maintenance is an advantage.
Compensation: Based on experience.
Schedule: Monday - Friday
