Position: Teacher of the Handicapped/Teacher of Students with Disabilities
Location: Developmental Learning Center – New Providence
Developmental Learning Center – Warren
Anticipated Effective Date: September 2, 2025
Qualifications:
- NJ DOE Teacher of the Handicapped or Teacher of Students with Disabilities AND K-6 Instructional Certification required. Please note: candidates must possess teacher certifications prior to start date of employment.
- Experience instructions students with autism spectrum disorder.
- Experience with behavior manager techniques and social emotional learning curriculum.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to provide direction and support to classroom teacher assistants.
- Documented past positive performance evaluations.
