What are the responsibilities and job description for the Direct Support Professional (DSP) Residential “Part-Time Weekend Available” position at Morrison Center?
$21 an hour!
Morrison Center is seeking caring, creative and energetic team members to provide support to adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities in our residential settings in New Gloucester, ME (Snowe). Interested applicants should have a strong desire to help others, be open to learning new things and receiving feedback, and be able to work well with team.
Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Attending to general health and welfare of the residents-including meal preparation, personal care, and daily living skills.
- Planning and facilitating meaningful daily activities designed to help residents achieve personal goals.
- Maintaining current and accurate electronic documentation and progress notes
- As a team, maintaining a clean and safe home environment
- Promoting life skill development and community integration
- Contributing to a positive work environment.
- Provide essential and fulfilling support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Schedule:
- DSP Snowe (New Gloucester) – 16 hrs Sat-Sun 8am-4Pm
- Day shift

Education and Requirements:
DSP Certification preferred but will train motivated applicants
CPR/1st Aid Preferred
CRMA certified Preferred.
Experience working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities encouraged!
HS diploma/GED required.
A valid Maine driver’s license.
