Morrison Center is Hiring for our Residential Programs in Wells, ME
Morrison Center is seeking caring, creative, and energetic team members to join our team and provide support to adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities. This position will also include one day per week at our residential home in Wells, ME. Job Responsibilities:
- Community Integration: Support clients with transportation to community activities, events, and outings to encourage social participation and community engagement.
- Creative Programming: Plan and facilitate activities such as art projects, meal preparation, and organized games to promote life skills, teamwork, and creativity.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic documentation and progress notes to track client goals and outcomes.
- Team Collaboration: Work as part of a team to develop a calendar of outings and activities that foster community integration.
- Direct Support: Provide essential and fulfilling support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them achieve personal goals and enhance their independence.
Qualifications:
- Education: High School diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities is encouraged but not required.
- Certifications: DSP Certification preferred, but we will train motivated applicants. CPR/First Aid and CRMA certification preferred.
- Licensing: Valid Maine driver’s license required.
