What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Manager position at Morrison Lake Construction?
Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.
- Oversee and maintain customer files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Coordinate and schedule appointments, meetings, and events for the office.
- Answer and direct phone calls, taking messages and providing information as needed.
- Review timesheet hours of employees and turn into accountant
- Type up estimates and email them to potential customers
- Fill out permits and submit online and follow up if any corrections are needed.
- Process mail each day and take care of accounts payable and receivable.
- Maintain office supplies inventory, ordering as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience in an office management or a similar role.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficient in using Excel.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- High level of professionalism with excellent phone etiquette.
