JOB DESCRIPTION
Morristown Elementary is seeking a Kindergarten assistant for the 2024-
2025 school year.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists instructional personnel with the development and presentation of learning materials and instructional exercises
Tutors students individually or in small groups
Assists teacher in maintaining discipline in a positive manner
Plans for and executes tutoring for students as designed by the teachers
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to work in a team atmosphere.
Ability to work with students with a variety of learning needs
Uphold school guidelines, policies and procedures
Respect confidentiality
Willingness to participate in professional development/certification opportunities as needed
The starting salary for new instructional assistants is $14.50 per hour (8:15-2:30 daily). Additional compensation possible depending on degree held.
